Iranian Society of Parasitology

Introduction

The Iranian Society of Parasitology was inaugurated on 1994 in Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Society pursue the improvement of the knowledge on the parasites and parasitic diseases, exchange of scientific knowledge with foreign societies, publicity activities, consultation on the parasitic diseases, and intimate relationship among Society members.

The Society's official publication is Iranian Journal of Parasitology. The Society (ISP) is the member of World Federation of Parasitologists.

The Society members meet together for the exchange of the scientific works and election of executive board every other year. The Society welcomes any person who has interests on the parasites and parasitic diseases in Iran and abroad.

Annual membership fee is 50000 Rials for members and 10000 Rials for students including Journal (IJP) subscription and the Society News Letters.
